Mars (Mars) has been adored as the Red Planet since ancient times. It has been said that Mars may have noticed a civilization more advanced than mankind. It has even been said that it may be aware of a civilization more advanced than mankind.
One scientist even said that Mars has canals and a civilization more advanced than mankind. The scientist actually looked at Mars through a telescope... And a prime example of how they thought there was intelligent life on Mars would be the Space Wars. It was even made into a movie. I have seen the movie, and it is about a civilization far more advanced than mankind that has had a tetrapod on earth for a million years and attacks mankind in the movie. There is also a new movie called Sin Space War. It is a new space war movie.
However, there is a growing belief that the reality is not just intelligent life, but that even life is doubtful.
Now, I would like to follow the birth of Mars. Mars has about 10% of the mass of the Earth and 1/3 of the gravity of the Earth. However, the reason why Mars is so small is related to Jupiter. Jupiter is so massive that it is thought to have blown away the small bodies in Mars orbit.
Six hundred million years after its birth, Mars was a habitable rocky planet with a magnetic field and water. It probably had life. However, Mars is imagined to have been so small in mass that its magnetic field could not hold for many years. I believe that the temperature of the interior dropped rapidly. Then the Martian atmosphere was blown away by the solar winds, and the thick atmosphere and watery oceans of the Earth-like landscape disappeared.
In addition, the topography of Mars has many craters in the southern hemisphere due to its higher elevation. The northern hemisphere is lower in elevation and has fewer craters. Perhaps the northern hemisphere was the ocean and the southern hemisphere the continent. That might prove that if the craters in the northern hemisphere dated from a certain year, then the Martian oceans disappeared in that year.
Also, water probably disappeared 2 to 3 billion years ago. Life on Earth started 4 billion years ago. Although it is not a simple comparison (the birth of life depends on the environment of the planet), it is not too much to say that the probability of the birth of life on Mars is high. However, it is possible that Martian life could be emerging now. However, life on Earth underwent a major evolution (Cambrian explosion) 600 million years ago. In other words, the likelihood of multicellular life on Mars, as it is on Earth today, is low.
Mars also has huge volcanoes such as Mount Olympus (20 km above sea level), which repeatedly erupted in the same place to become huge volcanoes because plate tectonics does not work. Simulations suggest that there are still supervolcanoes around Olympus. Therefore, it is possible that volcanoes still erupt on Mars. In addition, a warm surface around Olympus has been discovered by infrared observations of the spacecraft.
In addition, water exists underground on Mars as liquid or ice. The possibility has been pointed out. Water cannot exist on the surface because of the thin atmospheric pressure, but it could exist underground.
